AMINA ANNABI IS BACK WITH NEW PROJECT
PARIS, FRANCE – Amina Annabi, the 1991 French representative who got the worst 2nd position ever on Eurovision scoreboard (remember her draw with Swedish winner Carola), is back with a brand new song, 22 years after the stunning “C’Est Le Dernier Qui A Parlé Qui A Raison”.
She is now taking part in the North project, a brand new musical experience. British composer and musician Matthew Ker (aka MaJiKer) has gathered traditional Nordic melodies from Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and got them reworked and reinterpreted in English by artists from all over the world. Each track of the project is unveiled and showcased individually as this is not an album but an ever-evolving songbook.
The latest release of North is a contemporary version of the Swedish lullaby “Byssan Lull”. The track is retitled “Aurora Borealis” and is performed by Tunisia-born Amina in a very bewitching way.
