UKRAINE 🇺🇦 Ukrainian creative Agency Banda Agency nominated in the category “Design” for the development of the branding of “Eurovision – 2017”. It is worth noting that the logo and identity of the song contest Banda Agency developed in partnership with the Studio theatre. The logo is made based on the traditional Ukrainian necklaces, as a symbol of beauty and protection. The decoration consists of many unique beads which together form a unique pattern. The logo is fully consistent with the slogan — Celebrate Diversity.
In one interview, the designers said that they wanted to do something new for the international song contest. “Did not want to inherit past styles. I wanted to make something our own, Ukrainian. Not just to show that “we can no worse” than other countries have done. And to do something different, maybe bolder, more modern. I hope the design of “Eurovision” will also be highlighted and discussed, as the design of the Olympic games or rebranding the world’s largest brands,” said Paul Vrzhesh.
