🇸🇪 Eleni Foureira and Netta will give one more battle on August 2nd in Stockholm
Fotis Konstantopoulos (Greece)
SWEDEN 🇸🇪 Both Eurovision 2018 winner Netta and runner up Eleni Foureira have kicked off international appearances in various gigs and concerts. There is high demand for both artists and organisers are offering dozen of thousands of Euros to have at least one of them. It is true though that Spain has special preference to Eleni Foureira honouring her for signing a song with a Spanish titled which somehow is equal to Eurovision triumph for them (it seems).
Belgium, Amsterdam, London are few of the next stops of Eleni with MAD VMA in Athens and several gigs in Cyprus and Greece following. The last summer tour of Eleni is anyway in Greece honouring the country from which she became famous. Even Perez Hilton aid a tribute to Eleni posting an article of why “Fuego” should be a song you must listen!
But Eurovision 2018 winner Netta is not far behind. International deal for the song distribution, tribute in NY Times Square airing her song and her first International gig in Switzerland. are some of the highlights of her activities. Netta is also good at promoting brands through her Instagram which means a good income for her. Following her latest appearances in Zürich, Switzerland and Jerusalem, Israel, Netta will attend several other events across Europe.
Though international interest will rise to its peak when Netta and Eleni will both attend in two Swedish events on early August. During the day of August 2nd Netta and Eleni are lined up fro RIX FM Festival, one of the most prestigious events in Sweden, taking place annually. Benjamin Ingrosso and Jessica Andersson – one half of Fame (Sweden 2003) will be performing as well. But later that night Stockholm Pride organises the Eurovision Battles and the night-club of Stockholm where eat event will take place will surely go on “fire” (aka Fuego). We hope the organisers are smart enough to have arranged maybe a duet appearance or performance maybe?
This is one exciting summer for the Eurofans across Europe with at least the national gay pride events. hosting mostly Eurovision stars something which will be seen in Amsterdam and Antwerp. Unlike 2017 summer when Eurovision winner didn’t do anything due to his health condition, 2018 summer kicks off very promising.
