SPAIN – Amaia Romero did not want to miss the premiere of the new film by Pedro Almodóvar. Pain and Glory brought together many well-known faces among which were the protagonists of this new film. For its part, the winner of Operación Triunfo 2017 spoke openly of her absence in the passage of the witness to Miki, the new Spanish representative in Eurovision, and his relationship with Alfred.
Speaking to local press she was asked: How do you see Miki and La Venda?
I wish you good luck, I’m not following much because I’m with the album now and I’m a bit involved but I wish you luck. Do not take it as something essential in life, in the end it is one more of the many things you will do.
There is a lot of talk about your absence at the OT Eurovision Gala and only Alfred and it is said that it is because you avoided agreeing with Alfred?
That’s a lie, I’ve seen him on other occasions and nothing has happened. After how bad we were last year I think I’m nobody to give the trophy to Miki in Eurovision. In my opinion.
What advice would you give to Miki?
What I have said, do not take it as something very important because it is not, it is a festival and it is one more thing in life. I’m talking here as if I’ve been in the industry for 20 years, but no, it’s how I feel now. At that time I saw it as the most important thing and that was the only thing I did in my life. Now I see it with more perspective and it’s one more thing, that’s it.
