MALTA 🇲🇹 The much-anticipated music video for “Colors”, a song by American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo featuring Malta’s own Ira Losco has just been released. The song is the Coca-Cola promotional anthem for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The video brings together people from around the world to celebrate their respective flags and nationalities adding lots of colour. Ira losco also used colourful scenes alongside dancers and young football enthusiasts (male & female) using backdrops from Valletta M’Xlokk & Golden Bay backdrops. The unifying anthem is a rallying cry for fans around the world to embrace their “colours”, a concept that extends beyond country flags. Wyclef Jean, also of Haitian descent, represents his “colors” in a cameo. Howard Keith at Jagged House Studios mixed this version whilst Matthew Muscat Drago filmed the Malta scenes.

Ira Losco’s message in Maltese (with English subtitles) was also highlighted and included in a Global campaign bringing together several international artists and Coca-Cola Brand ambassadors. Her message was “Let’s not live in monochrome, Let’s all live in a multitude of Colours. It makes the world such an unbelievable place!”
This is not the first time the artist has been featured in the World Cup promotional anthem. 4 years ago she was also featured alongside X-Factor USA star David Correy. Ira losco has been the Coca-Cola brand ambassador ever since.

“I’m extremely excited and proud of this experience. I love collaborating with different artists. Music should be about sharing experiences and communicating. I think during times like these where the world needs to stop and listen to those urging the wonder of unity and diversity, a song like ‘Colors’ really does celebrate the multi cultural identity of the world we live in.” She added

Coincidently both Jason Derulo and Ira Losco are about to release their respective New Albums. In fact Ira losco dropped the pre-order link exclusive to ITUNES yesterday titled ‘NO SINNER NO SAINT’. Her double album will be launched on Thursday 21st June. This will include a physical release with 2 x CDs ‘NO SINNER’ with ‘NO SAINT’ with 12 tracks on each CD. The double album will also be released on all digital platforms.

Her double album coincides with her 15-year anniversary in music. Ira Losco is also expected to host a series of concerts and events throughout the year whilst Jason Derulo will be headlining ISLE OF MTV held in Malta on the 27th of June.
